Park Census 2018: Update on 2018 Park Census

The Park Census Office (PCO) is happy to announce that we are in the final stages of developing the 2018 Census (36 AZ).

The new census will be taken during the first nine months of 2018 and will reflect the changes in The Park's population over the past decade, including species-identification, physical, mental, and economic well-being, family size, and participation in Park life.

An optional part of the census will include questions regarding political preferences and the economic state of The Park.

The descendants of founding species account for 41% of The Park's population

Hibernators and estivators account for 57% of The Park's population

RESIDENCE
42% of Animals in The Park reside in single-Animal dwellings

37% of The Park's Animals have changed their place of residence at least once in the last 25 years

22% of The Park's Animals reported using some form of Human-made material in the construction of their dwellings

18% of The Park's Animals reside in burrows

The number of young who reside with their parents for at least one year after their birth has increased from 16% to 22% in the years since zoocracy was instituted

13% of Animals reported losing a family member to emigration.

8% of Park residents reported having to seek work outside The Park for at least part of the year

18% of Animals consider themselves to be working with or for Humans

77% of Animals reported doing some form of the work for which they were either raised or trained
